Role overview

This full-time, permanent role is based at Auckland Airport and sits at the front line of customer service for a major international vehicle rental business. The position is entry level and includes training, with scope to grow internally within the wider organisation.

What you will do

As a Vehicle Return Agent, you will be the first person customers meet when they bring vehicles back. Your focus will be to keep the return process smooth, welcoming, and efficient while making sure each vehicle is checked in properly and prepared for the next hire.

You may also help customers with travel directions, local information, and the handling of complaints or service issues when needed.

Key duties

• Speed up vehicle returns while delivering a high standard of customer care.
• Inspect returned vehicles for fresh damage and record findings according to the damage reporting process.
• Check fuel levels and mileage, and enter the details accurately into handheld devices when required.

Working pattern

This role involves 40 hours each week. The site operates seven days a week, from Monday to Sunday between 06:00 and 22:00. Shifts may include a mix of 4 x 10-hour shifts and 5 x 8-hour shifts, and you should be available for early starts, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
