Overview
Are you enthusiastic about providing outstanding customer experiences? IDEXX invites customer-focused candidates to express interest for potential roles within our Customer Relations team based in Hamilton, New Zealand. Although no immediate openings exist, joining our talent network ensures priority consideration for upcoming vacancies. This hybrid position involves working closely with the Customer Service Supervisor to deliver exceptional assistance involving our leading diagnostic products.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as an approachable and knowledgeable initial contact for customers seeking support.
- Manage customer inquiries through phone calls and emails, delivering prompt and effective solutions.
- Keep precise records of customer communications and requests using internal systems.
- Build customer loyalty through thoughtful and professional engagement.
- Educate customers about IDEXX’s products, services, and diagnostic solutions.
- Provide feedback and insights from customers to help improve service quality and processes.
- Work a rotating schedule Monday to Friday between 7:30 AM and 7:30 PM, including occasional Saturday mornings.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong passion for delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding communication abilities in both verbal and written forms, confident interaction over phone and email.
- Proficient problem-solving skills demonstrated with empathy and professionalism.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and able to take initiative while collaborating effectively within a team.
- High computer literacy with the capacity to quickly master new systems and technologies.
- Excellent organizational capabilities and keen attention to detail.
- Experience in customer service, contact centers, veterinary, healthcare, scientific, or diagnostic sectors is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of the veterinary or scientific diagnostic industries is beneficial; comprehensive training will be provided.
