Role Overview
We are searching for a Creative Designer specializing in graphic and visual design to oversee our brand materials and out-of-home (OOH) advertising designs. This role requires transforming briefs into bold and culturally relevant visuals that resonate with UK Gen Z audiences. Responsibilities include crafting brand collateral, digital assets, and large-format OOH campaigns while maintaining brand consistency and a distinctive identity across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive brand assets such as collateral, presentations, social and digital content, print materials, packaging, and event/environmental graphics.
- Conceptualize and produce impactful OOH advertisements including billboards, transit displays, and digital screens optimized for large-scale visibility.
- Create visual campaigns tailored to the preferences, platforms, and cultural trends of UK Gen Z.
- Manage and enhance brand assets like layouts, typography, color schemes, iconography, and templates to ensure cohesive brand presentation.
- Prepare and deliver print and OOH artworks meeting technical specifications, coordinating with print and media partners.
- Collaborate with marketing, product teams, and external agencies to carry projects from initial brief to final execution.
- Introduce fresh inspirations and keep the design team informed of emerging trends to evolve visual language continuously.
Candidate Requirements
- A strong graphic/visual portfolio showcasing original ideas and high craftsmanship across various formats.
- Deep knowledge of the UK Gen Z market, including visual language, humor, platform trends, and engagement strategies.
- Experience spanning multiple sectors, preferably including technology/IT and consumer lifestyle brands.
- Strong brand stewardship to protect and enhance brand presence while embracing innovation.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite—Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign—and familiarity with Figma is advantageous.
- Exceptional skills in layout design, typography, composition, with meticulous attention to production detail.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects effectively and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in out-of-home (OOH) advertising design for billboards, transit, and other large-format media.
- Skills in video and motion graphics creation, including editing and animated social media content.
- Social-first design experience tailored for platforms like TikTok and Instagram popular with Gen Z.
- Background in brand identity development or evolution of visual identity systems.
- Experience in art direction with photo or video shoots, from moodboard creation to final selection.
