Job Overview

FedEx Canada is seeking a courteous and efficient Courier to handle pick-up and delivery of packages on designated routes. The role includes verifying that all shipments comply with FedEx Canada service standards and performing related customer service duties.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs using proper equipment
• Preferred one year of customer-focused business experience
• Must pass mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training
• Familiarity with FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is advantageous
• Strong interpersonal, communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service aptitude
• Ability to multitask, perform under pressure, and manage stress effectively
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including holidays, as per business demands
• Bilingual abilities (French and English) required if residing in Quebec

Additional Information and Disclaimers

This position requires operating in a PC Windows environment and maintaining certifications through periodic training. Candidates driving as a core part of the role must have a valid license (Class 5, G, or 1[AZ]) and a driving record with no more than two violations or accidents in the prior 24 months. Candidates will be evaluated based on driving records, interview performance, and driver competency tests.
