About the Role

Join A One Bakery as a Counter Salesman based in Guwahati, Assam. In this position, you will engage with customers in a polite, courteous, and professional manner while providing detailed explanations about our bakery products including their ingredients, flavors, sizes, and any active promotions.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers warmly, addressing their bakery-related queries and preferences.
• Advise customers on selections such as cakes, pastries, breads, snacks, and beverages in line with their requirements.
• Manage billing processes involving cash, UPI, and card payments, ensuring accurate receipt issuance.
• Maintain an appealing and clean presentation of bakery products, including the upkeep of shelves and counters.
• Ensure product freshness by routinely inspecting items and removing expired or damaged goods from displays.
• Carefully pack bakery items for takeout and delivery orders to retain quality during transit.
• Liaise effectively with kitchen and production teams to check stock availability and handle any special customer requests.
• Keep detailed records of daily sales, customer orders, and product movement as directed by management.
• Uphold hygiene and cleanliness standards in the sales area adhering to food safety regulations.
• Assist in stock receiving operations and organize products systematically in the store.
• Proactively promote current offers, festival specials, and discount programs to drive increased sales.
• Handle customer complaints tactfully and escalate issues to supervisors when necessary.
• Support home delivery and online order functions as required to enhance operational efficiency.
• Work towards achieving daily sales goals contributing to the bakery's overall growth.

Compensation

The monthly salary for this role ranges between 9000 and 10000 Indian Rupees.
