Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed analysis of manufacturing conversion costs, purchase price variances, and inventory cost discrepancies.
  • Evaluate variances related to materials, labor, overheads, and absorption costs.
  • Provide cost, inventory, and financial insights to support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
  • Monitor and report capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operational expenditure (OPEX) metrics compared to budget, forecasts, and previous years’ performance.
  • Track working capital efficiency metrics, including Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO), Days Payable Outstanding (DPO), and inventory aging.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of standard costing, inventory valuation, and month-end cost accounting procedures.
  • Develop ROI analyses and business cases related to capital investments and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Create management reports, dashboards, and key performance indicator (KPI) analyses utilizing Power BI.
  • Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to enhance cost efficiency and maintain strong financial controls.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 4 to 8 years of experience in Cost Accounting or Supply Chain Finance, preferably within international FMCG manufacturing.
  • Proficient in SAP or Oracle ERP systems and skilled in Power BI for reporting and data analysis.
