Position Summary
This role is responsible for managing the Healthy Families Harford County Home Visiting Program's daily functions. It involves supervising professional staff, ensuring adherence to Healthy Families America standards, managing MIECHV grant compliance, and upholding departmental policies. The coordinator also leads quality assurance and continuous quality improvement initiatives, collaborates with community partners, and supports the health department's mission to advance health equity and improve outcomes for children and families through evidence-based programs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum two years of experience coordinating health-related programs or facilitating referrals to government and private resources.
- Alternatively, candidates may substitute each year of required experience with 30 college credits from an accredited institution.
- Military service as a commissioned officer in Health Care Administration or Civil Affairs Specialist roles in health-related fields may substitute on a year-for-year basis for experience and education.
