Consultant - Cybersecurity

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Cybersecurity Consultant to enhance our cybersecurity measures across various areas including risk management, security architecture, data protection, and disaster recovery planning. This role requires a versatile professional adept at navigating fast-paced environments while linking technical teams, business units, and security governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and assist in risk assessments for IT infrastructure, cloud services, applications, and third-party providers; contribute to risk register upkeep and help craft mitigation plans.
• Support secure design and evaluation of IT architectures both on-premises and cloud-based, focusing on controls, access management, and network segmentation.
• Assist with data security initiatives such as data classification, encryption, lifecycle controls, and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
• Participate in disaster recovery strategy creation and validation, including testing plans to continually improve recovery readiness.
• Work alongside security operations and incident response teams to integrate cybersecurity events into broader crisis management efforts.
• Help align cybersecurity practices with standards like ISO 27001, NIST, QSF, and NIA; assist with audits and control review activities.
• Evaluate and monitor risks linked to external vendors and partners, aiding in due diligence and remediation tracking.
• Drive continuous enhancement of cybersecurity risk frameworks by incorporating lessons learned, staying current with regulations, and responding to evolving business requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, IT, or a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in cybersecurity consulting or audit roles.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Certifications in ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 22301 preferred.
