About the Role

Reneco International Wildlife Consultants LTD is dedicated to a global conservation strategy focused on restoring and preserving the Houbara bustard populations across North Africa and Asia. Operating multidisciplinary centers in Morocco, Central Asia, and the Arabian Peninsula, Reneco integrates fundamental and applied research within its conservation efforts. To support the expansion of its activities and new conservation projects, Reneco is inviting candidates to join the Breeding Team in the United Arab Emirates as a Junior Breeding Consultant focused on Heavy Logistics. This position is site-based at the Sweihan breeding center in Abu Dhabi and reports to the Principal Breeding Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, construction, and upkeep of cages, tunnels, and other breeding infrastructure.
• Manage inventories of cages and tunnels, optimizing storage and resource allocation.
• Provide training and technical guidance to Heavy Logistics teams to ensure adherence to best practices.
• Contribute to budget planning and promote efficient use of materials and equipment.
• Create, maintain, and update technical documents, operational procedures, and monitoring records.
• Lead initiatives for continuous improvements in operational workflows, infrastructure, and efficiency.
• Support projects involving innovation, tunnel greening, and pest control measures.
• Work towards standardizing cage and tunnel designs across breeding facilities.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards across all operational activities.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, preferably with a focus on Business Management and Agricultural Techniques; or
• BTSA (Advanced Technician Certificate) in Animal Production or comparable technical fields.

Experience and Skills

• Background in technical operations, construction, infrastructure support, or heavy logistics.
• Experience or familiarity with animal production, breeding environments, or agronomy is advantageous.
• Understanding of construction techniques, applicable equipment, and Health & Safety regulations.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints effectively.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical system principles.
• Proficiency in inventory management and maintaining technical documentation.
• Strong communication abilities, teamwork orientation, and capable problem-solving skills.
• Organized, proactive attitude with eagerness to acquire new knowledge.
• Competency in Microsoft Office and preferably experience with inventory or database systems.
• Fluency in English required; additional languages such as French, Arabic, or Russian are beneficial.
