Role Overview

The Construction Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all on-site activities related to upscale building projects, including residential buildings and hotels, located in Umluj, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The main objectives are to ensure the execution of construction work adheres strictly to safety guidelines, budget constraints, schedule commitments, design plans, and quality standards. Effective leadership, technical proficiency, and collaboration with various project stakeholders are critical for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed plans and organize construction tasks for residential and hotel building contracts.
Direct and oversee site operations to meet timelines, budget targets, and quality requirements.
Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors to facilitate seamless project progression.
Track project progress and promptly address any technical or operational challenges encountered on-site.
Ensure all work complies with applicable safety regulations and environmental policies.
Review and approve construction documentation including drawings, specifications, and work methodologies.
Perform routine site inspections to ensure quality of workmanship and materials.
Generate progress reports and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
Manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to guarantee timely provisioning of necessary resources and services.
Control costs, allocate resources efficiently, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Take corrective action when delays, defects, or non-compliance issues arise.

Candidate Profile

Possess a bachelor's or master’s degree in civil engineering or construction management.
Demonstrate prior experience managing construction projects within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In-depth understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
Proficient user of project management software and MS Office applications.
Capable of interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Skilled in communication and negotiation.
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety and quality assurance.
