Role overview
This contract role focuses on advising on how enterprise software is monetized, licensed, and structured commercially. You will help evaluate pricing choices, go-to-market effectiveness, and broader commercial performance across technology markets.
The engagement is remote and offers flexible hours at a rate of $180 per hour.
Key responsibilities
- Review enterprise software pricing architectures, product packaging, and licensing approaches.
- Examine how customers buy, how discounts are applied, and how contract terms affect economics.
- Identify opportunities to improve renewals, expand accounts, and strengthen revenue performance.
- Assess the economics of channels, distribution models, and partner ecosystems in software markets.
- Compare competitive positioning and track shifts in the market landscape.
- Offer guidance on how enterprise software procurement and deployment decisions are made.
Core requirements
- Extensive background in enterprise software pricing, monetization, or commercial strategy.
- Solid understanding of licensing structures, customer agreements, and revenue models.
- Hands-on experience negotiating or designing complex enterprise software deals.
- Working knowledge of channel partnerships, distribution strategies, and ecosystem incentives.
- Ability to explain real commercial practices and market behavior clearly and accurately.
- Exposure to enterprise technology vendors, infrastructure companies, procurement teams, or similar commercial settings.
Additional strengths
- Experience with digital workplace, endpoint management, or enterprise infrastructure markets is a plus.
