Job description
Position Overview
We are searching for a capable Commercial Card Launch PMO / Project Manager with extensive experience leading the full project lifecycle for commercial card products, including program management and cross-functional delivery. The successful candidate will oversee programme mobilisation, establish transparent governance, align stakeholder priorities, and guarantee operational and regulatory readiness for product launches.
Main Duties
- Define program charters, objectives, and governance models, establishing clear metrics for success and robust communication channels.
- Manage the end-to-end implementation plan, spanning product, technology, operations, and go-live activities to ensure seamless integration and launch readiness.
- Own all delivery-related documentation — maintaining RAID logs, tracking critical dependencies, orchestrating status reporting and risk mitigation for executives.
- Lead the full commercial card launch process, including initial product scope, cross-functional coordination for card issuance and transaction flow, and supporting post-launch stabilization.
- Synchronize with stakeholders across card networks, processors, and technology partners to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
- Conduct workshops to gather and validate business, operational, and user requirements; evaluate BRDs, specs, process maps, user stories, and propose improvements as needed.
- Identify and quickly resolve operational gaps, collaboratively developing solutions to maintain quality and timelines.
- Govern user acceptance, certification, pilot, and go-live activities, with hands-on oversight for all testing phases.
- Drive organizational readiness across operations, customer service, finance, risk, fraud, and compliance, ensuring all teams are prepared for launch.
- Facilitate necessary regulatory, risk, and compliance sign-offs and coordinate audit readiness, proactively addressing any findings and managing scheme compliance.
Requirements
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in project/program management or business analysis, specifically in the banking, payments, cards, or fintech sectors.
- Proven record of end-to-end commercial card implementations or migrations involving issuer processors.
- Deep knowledge of the card issuance space, including operational processes across the card life cycle.
- Insightful approach to integrated project planning, RAID log management, and executive-level project reporting.
- Direct experience overseeing major launch testing — including SIT, UAT, and operational readiness validation.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and ability to coordinate among diverse business and technical parties.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, Finance, or related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum.
- Direct involvement with commercial/corporate/virtual cards, issuer processors, or business system (ERP) integrations.
Additional Information
- Type: 12-month contract role
- Location: Onsite in Singapore
- Expected to join immediately or after a short notice
