Role Overview
As a Cleaner based full-time onsite in Wilmot, ON, your duties involve performing standard cleaning activities including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting various surfaces across residential and commercial locations. Daily responsibilities encompass cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, office spaces, shared areas, and floors, as well as handling trash disposal, resupplying materials, and ensuring equipment is properly maintained. You will adhere to company protocols and client directions to ensure thorough, timely, and safe cleaning. This position may require you to work independently or collaboratively, travel between sites, and consistently follow health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proficient in general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitization.
- Excellent attention to cleanliness and organizational details with committed standards.
- Dependable time management skills with punctuality and capability to follow instructions and schedules.
- Physically capable of standing, bending, lifting, and carrying cleaning tools and supplies as required.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning agents, safe handling, and health and safety protocols.
- Good communication abilities and courteous professional dealings with clients and co-workers.
- Prior janitorial or cleaning work experience is advantageous but not mandatory; comprehensive on-site training will be provided.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and access to dependable transportation preferred to travel between various locations in Wilmot and surrounds.
