Role Overview

Reporting directly to the CEO and as a vital member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Chief Operating Officer will drive operational excellence across a broad array of services. The position involves ensuring that services remain safe, sustainable, and centered on participants' needs. Additionally, it includes nurturing leadership development, enhancing organizational performance, and promoting a culture rooted in accountability and continuous improvement. The role offers substantial influence over strategic decisions, spearheading organizational transformation, and seizing innovative and sustainable growth opportunities.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a seasoned operational leader with proven experience managing complex service delivery organizations, particularly within disability, health, community services, aged care, or similarly regulated sectors. They possess a strong ability to translate strategic goals into actionable plans, foster high-performing teams, and guide organizational change. Commercial insight is vital to balance participant outcomes alongside operational efficiency, financial sustainability, and service quality. Above all, the candidate must be an authentic, collaborative leader who engenders trust, nurtures staff development, and champions a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
