cellumation Inc. specializes in innovative automation solutions utilizing patented celluveyor technology to optimize material flow systems in intralogistics and distribution. As the North American branch of a global group headquartered in Germany, cellumation is expanding its footprint and operational capacity in the US market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the North American corporate strategy to enhance market penetration and revenue growth for celluveyor-based automation solutions.
- Transform the US entity from a sales and service branch to a fully integrated, scalable regional organization.
- Design and implement scalable go-to-market strategies targeting Tier 1 integrators, OEMs, and key end customers.
- Drive expansion into new sectors by collaborating with local sales teams and global product management to identify and capture promising market segments.
- Oversee marketing efforts, including participation in industry events, trade shows, and brand promotion across North America.
- Coordinate closely with German HQ teams in Product Management, Engineering, and Operations to ensure alignment of market needs and global direction.
- Manage all operational aspects of the US business including project management, machine assembly, installation, commissioning, and ongoing service.
- Assess feasibility and strategically plan potential establishment of local final assembly facilities based on market volume and cost-effectiveness.
- Optimize supply chain management, quality control, and service logistics to meet customer demands and improve lead times.
- Assume full profit and loss accountability and operational leadership of the US legal entity, ensuring compliance, governance, and business efficiency.
- Oversee governance practices with focus on safety, quality standards, and human resources to maintain a spotless compliance record.
- Grow and mentor the US team located in The Woodlands, TX, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Operations, and other departments to develop organizational structure and coordinate execution.
- Guide strategic organizational growth and team development to effectively support increasing installation and service activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Over 10 years of progressive senior management experience such as General Manager, VP Operations, or CEO with full P&L responsibility.
- Proven success in building and scaling businesses within the US, emphasizing revenue growth and market development.
- Experience operating within small to medium enterprises and familiarity with European engineering companies and cultures is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and lead cross-functional teams while fostering a positive company culture.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach balanced with strategic executive leadership capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and emotional intelligence skills enabling influence at executive and stakeholder levels.
- Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally to Germany for coordination and meetings.
Desirable Technical Knowledge
- Familiarity with automated material handling systems including conveyor networks, sorters, robotics, and intelligent flow automation.
- Experience with production environments, manufacturing layouts, assembly processes, and compliance with industrial safety regulations.
- Existing network of contacts across system integrators, third-party logistics providers, e-commerce companies, and technology partners in the US.

Additional Information
