Role Overview
The Buying Assistant position within the Apparel team involves collaborating closely with Buyers to help source and deliver value-driven, quality products that enrich customer experiences. The role provides an immersive exposure to the complete buying cycle—from product selection and data management to supplier coordination and competitive analysis—culminating in products being available both in-store and online.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle coordination of marketing and sample assets for all advertising efforts, including digital platforms.
- Oversee the product registration process after approvals, including creation of keycodes, arranging samples, and supervising packaging logistics.
- Maintain precise and current data entry within internal systems and reports.
- Conduct ongoing competitive market assessments and share important insights with the team.
- Support liaison with suppliers, working with both local and offshore sourcing teams.
- Work in partnership with Buyers, demonstrating adaptability in a dynamic and large-scale retail setting.
