Role overview

An opportunity is available for a Procurement Specialist / Buyer to support complex ICT and data centre infrastructure work across Europe, with a base in Dundalk.

Core responsibilities

• Identify, source, and purchase electrical, mechanical, ICT, security, and power infrastructure materials and components.
• Request quotations, compare supplier offers, and negotiate on price and delivery timing.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders, while keeping the procurement timetable up to date.
• Develop strong supplier partnerships and regularly assess supplier performance.
• Work closely with project, engineering, site, and logistics teams to keep procurement aligned.
• Follow up on material deliveries to site and respond quickly to urgent purchasing requirements.
• Keep an eye on budgets and look for opportunities to reduce cost.
• Work in line with procurement processes, health and safety expectations, and ISO requirements.

Candidate profile

The role suits someone with a background in procurement, supply chain, or buying. The ideal candidate should be well organised, able to communicate clearly, and capable of managing several stakeholders and deadlines at once. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills are important, along with confidence using Excel and administrative systems.

This position is based in Dundalk and supports projects across Europe. The role is described as hybrid.
