About the Role

As a Customer Champion Consultant within the Small Business Sales Team at One New Zealand, you will play a pivotal role in supporting local small business clients to maintain connectivity. Your role entails providing expert advice and personalized solutions that positively impact their operations and drive business growth. Based in the Christchurch CBD Support Office, you will engage with customers using inbound and outbound phone calls and messaging platforms, primarily addressing Join and Leave intents relating to Mobile and Broadband services. You will be a trusted advisor delivering outstanding customer experiences while achieving excellent sales outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee One New Zealand’s unmanaged business customer portfolio by delivering superior service via outbound calls and campaign initiatives.
• Enhance product sales through cross-selling various new offerings by utilizing effective presentation skills.
• Provide exceptional customer service by resolving issues smoothly and meeting the specific business needs to ensure customer retention.
• Increase customer lifetime value by promoting device and accessory upgrades.
• Collaborate closely within a team environment, executing marketing strategies with strong communication skills.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in sales and customer service with a results-driven, customer-first approach balancing commercial objectives and quality service.
• Excellent verbal communication and active listening abilities to engage customers effectively, understand their requirements, and build rapport.
• Comfort and confidence working with digital tools and platforms, quickly adapting to new technologies.
• Strong business understanding and commercial awareness.
• Resilience and flexibility to respond adeptly to evolving customer needs and dynamic working conditions.
• Capability to manage multiple customer interactions across different channels while maintaining attention to detail and responsiveness in a fast-paced setting.
