About the Role

The Group manages a varied portfolio that includes (re)insurance, risk advisory, and education, enabling it to offer both global reach and deep local expertise.
Al Afaq Insurance Brokers, operating under Chedid Capital Group, is seeking a Business Development Officer to aid company expansion by identifying prospective clients, cultivating relationships, and promoting insurance-related offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Locate and engage potential clients to present the company’s services.
- Drive new sales opportunities through comprehensive market analysis, outreach initiatives, and networking events.
- Facilitate the progression of leads to active customer accounts.
- Support current account management to uphold client satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Market and cross-promote a variety of insurance products in alignment with client requirements.
- Keep detailed, current records of client communications and lead data within the company database.
- Contribute toward achieving team sales goals and broader business growth targets.
- Create fundamental reports documenting client engagements and sales outcomes.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a closely-related discipline.
- Between one and three years of professional experience in sales or the insurance industry, within any geographic location including Qatar.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous but not required.
