Role Overview
This opening is for a student admissions-focused counsellor at Muthoot Business Academy in Bengaluru. The position is geared toward motivated, goal-oriented professionals who can speak with students and parents, understand their aspirations, and recommend the right academic path.
What You Will Do
- Speak with walk-in visitors, callers, and online prospects about course options.
- Assess a candidate’s needs and suggest programs that fit their goals.
- Explain course format, fee details, schedule, and key benefits in a clear way.
- Handle enquiries arriving through multiple sources such as calls, emails, branch visits, and the website.
- Keep lead records, follow-up updates, and conversion progress properly entered in CRM systems.
- Maintain regular and timely follow-ups with prospective students.
- Work toward monthly and quarterly admission targets.
- Support applicants through the application, document collection, and enrolment steps.
- Use counselling and relationship-building skills to improve conversions.
- Coordinate with academic and operations teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Assist in fee collection and completion of required formalities.
- Respond to student and parent questions while maintaining a high level of satisfaction.
- Take part in school and college visits, seminars, education fairs, and promotional campaigns.
- Contribute to lead-generation activities and other outreach efforts.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong spoken and written communication, including English and a local language.
- Good counselling, persuasion, and negotiation ability.
- Comfort with target-based work and customer-focused interaction.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and manage follow-ups efficiently.
Eligibility Criteria
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 0 to 6 years of experience in education counselling, admissions, or sales.
- Freshers with strong communication skills may also be considered.
- Willingness to work in a target-driven setup and take part in field activities when needed.
