Role Overview
The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role within Brightway Insurance, collaborating intimately with Executive Leadership to enhance operational efficiency, spearhead digital transformation initiatives, and harness data science capabilities for strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Executive Leadership Team to implement improvements in operations and leverage data science to foster growth and innovation.
- Develop comprehensive financial models to assess investment opportunities, including scenario planning, projecting returns, and conducting valuation studies.
- Compile and analyze business data based on requests from project teams and senior management.
- Integrate data from diverse sources, maintain data accuracy and integrity, and update datasets as needed.
- Create queries and reports to support various analytical projects.
- Analyze data to detect business trends, perform root cause analysis on operational issues, and propose process enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams, private equity partners, and external stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
- Develop and evaluate performance metrics dashboards that aid performance management and assist leadership in benchmarking organizational goals.
- Prepare materials for board meetings, quarterly reports, and deliver presentations to executive leadership and external parties.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills enabling effective teamwork and interaction with senior executives.
- A proactive self-starter with meticulous attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong organizational capabilities combined with excellent written and verbal communication proficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, mathematics, or a related discipline with notable academic achievement; a master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum two years of experience demonstrating advanced analytical and quantitative expertise, especially in applying large datasets for financial impact assessments.
