About the Team and Role
This position is within Cisco Capital Global Business Process Management, focusing on enabling global sales acceleration and delivering unique customer finance solutions. The team values collaboration, agility, and innovation in offering competitive business advantages. The role entails close coordination with sales, finance, credit, operations, tax, and accounting teams to define business needs and implement data-driven insights aligned with strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in moderate to advanced projects enhancing Cisco Capital’s Global Connect Applications by embedding strong data governance and analytical frameworks.
- Utilize Agile methods to gather, document, and validate business requirements, collaborating with IT for solution development and operational system improvements.
- Create comprehensive business requirements documents, process flows, test cases, and training materials to facilitate smooth project execution and stakeholder alignment.
- Manage testing cycles, including sprint and user acceptance testing, to ensure quality delivery on schedule.
- Ensure data accuracy by enforcing data policies and serving as a Subject Matter Expert to standardize data definitions across departments.
- Translate complex business inquiries into actionable analytics using SQL and visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau, supporting informed decision-making.
- Design accessible data models and conduct training sessions to enable business users to independently analyze data.
- Collaborate with IT to explore and implement AI-enhanced capabilities such as Natural Language Data Search and automated classification to enhance data platform usability.
- Contribute to long-term enablement strategies and project roadmaps, addressing tool, system, and process interdependencies under leadership guidance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years’ relevant experience, including at least two years in leadership or project management roles.
- Proven experience with finance receivable systems such as InfoLease or Oracle Lease Management and understanding of data governance principles.
- Skilled in querying and manipulating data from diverse sources.
- Track record of working within Agile environments to deliver impactful cross-functional projects efficiently.
- Strong analytical thinking capable of interpreting complex datasets, detecting anomalies, and resolving business challenges.
- Excellent documentation skills for crafting business requirements, process documentation, and training content.
- Effective stakeholder collaboration and influence skills across business, IT, and data engineering teams.
- Experienced in delivering both virtual and in-person training to large audiences on system functionalities and analytical tools.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted analytics tools and awareness of data quality’s impact on predictive models.
- Proactive in understanding business environments to identify opportunities for process and data standardization improvements.
Preferred Expertise
- Advanced skills in SQL and hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau for data visualization.
- Familiarity with databases like Oracle, SQL Server, and MS Access.
- Experience using reporting tools such as SAP Business Objects.
- In-depth understanding of data governance topics including quality, security, privacy, and metadata management.
- Aware of concepts like data cataloging and data lineage.

Compensation and Benefits Summary
Salary range for the US and Canada is approximately $93,500 to $125,500 annually, varying by location and candidate background. Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) with matching, paid parental leave, disability coverage, life insurance, paid time off including holidays, personal wellness days, birthday leave, and flexible vacation programs. Eligible employees may receive Cisco stock units contingent on continued employment. Sales incentive plans and bonus structures apply to applicable roles, with detailed compensation plans varying by state and position.
