Breakfast & Afternoon Lounge Manager

About the Role

Join Sheen Falls Lodge, a distinguished 2 Michelin Keys property and part of the prestigious Relais & Châteaux group, where hospitality excellence is a tradition. We are seeking a dedicated Breakfast & Afternoon Lounge Manager to oversee the service standards of breakfast, room service during the morning, afternoon lounge, WPCC lunches, daytime functions, and coffee breaks. The position demands a commitment to outstanding customer service, hygiene, operational efficiency, and team leadership within a luxury 5-star environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the delivery of exceptional breakfast and morning room service standards, including procedure adherence.
• Supervise and guide the breakfast team, including the Breakfast Supervisor and breakfast teammates.
• Manage bar/lounge and room service operations during relevant shifts.
• Control and monitor stock levels for breakfast items, crockery, glassware, and utensils.
• Coordinate staff communication, training, and development focused on breakfast and room service.
• Oversee purchasing related to breakfast service requirements.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction during breakfast and afternoon lounge service periods.
• Implement and enforce HACCP protocols in service and still room areas, including temperature checks and food labelling.
• Collaborate with the Restaurant Director concerning special events, department organization, and performance reporting.
• Ensure sufficient staffing coverage and timely breaks compliant with company and government regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants must have a comprehensive background in food and beverage service within a luxury 5-star hotel setting, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and proven ability to lead and train a service team. Exceptional communication skills and a passion for guest and staff satisfaction are essential.
