Biology Expert - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Biology Expert to remotely contribute to AI development projects by providing expert evaluation and refinement of biological data and content. This contract position involves collaborating with platform teams to enhance the quality and accuracy of AI training material in the biological sciences.

Responsibilities

• Critically assess biology-related datasets, prompts, and content utilized in AI workflows, delivering in-depth feedback.
• Develop, review, and polish scientific scenarios, questions, and explanations that depict complex real-life biological challenges.
• Provide high-level expert insights ensuring biological data accuracy, relevance, and thoroughness in AI training and system outputs.
• Work closely with platform teams to clarify uncertainties and improve data quality, coverage, and representation for biological topics.
• Maintain detailed documentation of findings, methodologies, and the reasoning process to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
• Engage in iterative evaluations and review cycles to continuously improve AI capabilities in biology.
• Participate in interdisciplinary knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance project outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD degree in biology or a closely related life science field.
• Strong mastery of fundamental biological concepts with the capability to communicate complex topics to diverse audiences effectively.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills to provide clear and precise scientific feedback and explanations.
• Experience analyzing scientific data, critically evaluating research, and synthesizing intricate subject matter.
• Ability to work independently and reliably deliver superior-quality results within set project timelines.
• Previous involvement in interdisciplinary science or technology projects; knowledge of AI is advantageous but not required.
• Exceptional attention to detail, consistency, and a commitment to uphold scientific integrity and accuracy.
