Opportunity Overview
BPA seeks a skilled BIM Modeler specializing in Mechanical Building Systems to join their team. The role focuses on developing, coordinating, and maintaining mechanical BIM models including HVAC, plumbing, and related systems, for new builds, interior renovations, and retrofits. Collaboration with engineers, CAD technicians, and multidisciplinary teams is essential across all design and construction stages. This position suits detail-oriented individuals passionate about BIM coordination and constructible design.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain detailed 3D BIM models of mechanical systems using Revit.
- Convert engineering concepts, sketches, and calculations into precise, coordinated BIM models and construction documents.
- Participate in BIM coordination, conducting clash detection alongside architectural, structural, and electrical disciplines.
- Implement project BIM Execution Plans, company standards, and modeling best practices.
- Assist in generating drawings, schedules, and quantity take-offs extracted from BIM models.
- Integrate site survey data, field conditions, and as-built information into the models.
- Manage updates and revisions of models throughout all project phases.
- Work collaboratively with project teams to resolve design and coordination issues effectively.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Building Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Have 3 to 7 years of relevant mechanical BIM modeling experience in building systems.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency with Revit Mechanical; experience with AutoCAD is advantageous.
- Understand mechanical building systems, codes, and standards.
- Be familiar with Office 365 and common project collaboration platforms.
- Capable of interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and design intent accurately.
- Exhibit excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines.

Compensation and Equity
The salary range for this role is $60,000 to $80,000 annually, determined by experience, qualifications, role scope, and location.
