Role Overview

As a Billing Specialist, you will be an essential member of the Accounting team, managing billing operations for our international offices. Your core duties include accurate and prompt invoice preparation, payment posting, account reconciliation, and resolving billing discrepancies, all while working collaboratively across departments to optimize this critical business function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate precise invoices for products and services rendered.
  • Verify billing information and promptly address any errors.
  • Post payments received and maintain updated client account records.
  • Support reconciliation efforts and produce aging reports.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to compliance requirements.
  • Ensure billing contact details remain current for all clients.
  • Respond effectively to customer billing inquiries and provide necessary documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to fulfill client requests timely.
  • Assist with accounting projects, completing special assignments as required.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree or relevant qualifications in accounting or related discipline.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a similar billing or accounting role.
  • Strong proficiency with accounting software is highly desirable.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, along with familiarity with Word and Outlook.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Acumatica is advantageous.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities to manage projects under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy.
  • Fluent English language skills sufficient to perform all job duties.
