Billing Engineer

Job Overview

We seek a skilled Billing Engineer with 4 to 5 years of experience specializing in residential construction projects. This role requires a solid understanding of quantity measurement, client and subcontractor billing procedures, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Key Duties

• Prepare and validate bills for clients and subcontractors.
• Measure quantities based on drawings and monitor site progress.
• Compile Running Account (RA) bills, final bills, and billing reports.
• Maintain thorough billing documentation and records.
• Liaise with site staff, planning, and accounts departments to ensure smooth billing and payment processes.
• Track progress against Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and work orders.
• Support the preparation of quantity variation and extra item statements.
• Submit bills promptly and follow up on their approvals.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma or B.E./B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering.
• 4 to 5 years experience managing billing for residential construction projects.
• Strong understanding of BOQ, quantity take-offs, and construction drawings.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and report generation.
• Effective communication and coordination capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and adhere to deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using ERP or dedicated billing software.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills complemented by thorough documentation abilities.
