Overview

The Klinikum Bad Salzungen GmbH is looking to hire a payroll specialist in full-time, starting as soon as possible, for an on-site position in Bad Salzungen, Thuringia.

Key responsibilities

• Handle the monthly payroll run in line with the TVöD-K collective agreement and the applicable regulations for the different accounting entities.
• Maintain employee master data, absences, and variable payroll data in the LOGA payroll system.
• Calculate and process payments for duty allowances, sickness-related pay, and compensation for unused leave.
• Manage assignments of claims and wage garnishments.
• Determine social insurance contribution status and coverage obligations.
• Process matters related to pension insurance.
• Prepare statutory notifications and employment certificates.
• Monitor working time accounts and staff duty rosters through the Atoss scheduling system.
• Support year-end closing activities, including calculating personnel-related accruals.
• Act as a contact person for employees with questions about salary and payroll matters.

Candidate profile

• Completed commercial training.
• Solid experience in payroll and compensation processing, along with knowledge of the TVöD tariff framework.
• Confident use of job-related software, especially MS Excel; familiarity with LOGA from P&I and ATOSS is an advantage.
• Professional, friendly manner when dealing with the public and authorities.
• Reliability in meeting deadlines.
• Independent, target-oriented working style with strong organizational skills.
• Assertiveness, commitment, and a strong sense of responsibility.
