Overview

Join The LEGO Group as a Benefits Manager to lead and shape retirement, wellness, and employee benefits initiatives, enhancing colleague wellbeing and supporting a culture that values its workforce. This role is based in Boston's HUB location with a hybrid schedule of three office days and two remote days weekly. Note: No relocation assistance is provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee administration, governance, and compliance of retirement programs, including 401(k) plan management, collaboration with Fidelity and external consultants, chairing retirement committee efforts, and ensuring fiduciary and regulatory compliance.
  • Design, strategize, and implement fringe benefits and wellness initiatives such as commuter perks, wellness reimbursements, fitness programs, and other employee offerings that embody the company's culture.
  • Drive major benefits projects including retirement plan integrations, vendor changes, and program enhancements by analyzing market trends and benchmarking peers to innovate benefits programs.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with external providers like Fidelity and Willis Towers Watson to ensure service quality, cost effectiveness, and an excellent employee experience.
  • Manage benefits programs across the U.S., Canada, and Brazil while seeking operational efficiencies and improving program delivery.
  • Collaborate with Business Service Operations, People Operations, Employee Relations, Compliance, and Leave & Accommodations teams to deliver consistent, employee-centric benefits support.
  • Lead communications and support for annual Open Enrollment within Workday and throughout the year to boost employee engagement and benefits understanding.
  • Conduct ongoing benchmarking and market analysis with the Global Rewards team to maintain competitive, inclusive, and aligned benefits offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local laws including ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA; manage governance and risk related to benefits programs.

Candidate Profile

  • Extensive experience managing and improving employee benefits programs covering retirement, wellness, and fringe benefits.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. benefits regulations and governance, with additional experience in Canadian and Brazilian benefits advantageous.
  • Proficient in managing external vendor and consultant relationships.
  • Excellent communicator capable of distilling complex benefits information into accessible language for diverse audiences.
  • Proven partnership and influence abilities across multiple organizational functions including People & Culture, Finance, Legal, and Communications.
  • Analytical and problem-solving aptitude with a data-driven approach to evaluating and enhancing programs.
  • Adept at managing various projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
  • Experience with retirement committee governance, compliance audits, and strategic retirement initiatives preferred.
  • Familiarity with Workday benefits administration and annual open enrollment processes.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about fostering inclusive, positive employee experiences.

Compensation

The salary for this position ranges from $120,830 to $181,246, determined by factors such as experience, skills, and location. Details of total compensation including benefits will be provided upon offer finalization.
