About the Role

Derby Food Club is seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join their new full-scale cafe in Sheshadripuram, Bengaluru, as Bakery Chef and Bakery Helper. These positions involve hands-on baking, cake decoration, and kitchen support to maintain high-quality products and an efficient bakery environment.

Bakery Chef Responsibilities

• Create intricate fondant figures and demonstrate expert handcrafting abilities.
• Ensure flawless finishing touches and icing on cakes and pastries.
• Prepare a variety of savory baked goods including Korean buns, garlic breads, and mushroom toast.
• Maintain consistent quality, taste, and appearance of baked products.
• Manage inventory levels and ingredient usage efficiently.
• Assist in training and supervising kitchen helpers.
• Keep the kitchen workspace clean, safe, and well-organized.

Bakery Helper Responsibilities

• Assist with daily kitchen preparation tasks.
• Capable of preparing cakes along with icing and frosting.
• Support senior chefs in baking and production activities.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen area.
• Learn and adhere to recipes and baking processes.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
