Role Overview

As a Baker at COBS Bread, you will play a key role in delivering freshly baked, artisanal bread and treats to the community. Starting each morning with an empty bakery, you will follow carefully crafted recipes to produce high-quality goods and contribute to an excellent customer experience. No previous baking experience is required, only a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a small team to prepare and bake products each morning according to specific recipes.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness in the bakery to ensure a hygienic working environment.
• Manage reading and interpreting production schedules and recipes.
• Measure and mix ingredients, shape dough, and operate ovens for baking.

• Early riser with the ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.

Physical Demands

• Standing and walking throughout the shift.
• Regular lifting and carrying of items up to 22 kg.
• Frequent turning, reaching, occasional pushing, pulling, and some bending forward.
• Ability to lift objects weighing at least 2.5 kg to a height of 1.7 meters.
• Continuous use of hands with regular wrist movements and occasional firm gripping.
