In this role, you will support interior designers, architects, and retail partners from their first enquiry through to their first order, making the onboarding process smooth and effective while contributing to the growth of the trade customer base.
This position runs for 25 hours per week in a hybrid setup: four days working remotely and one day on-site at the Miss Amara office/distribution centre.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with interior designers, architects, and retail partners from the first conversation through to conversion.
- Follow up on new trade enquiries and look for ways to expand the B2B pipeline.
- Re-engage inactive accounts and assist customers with upcoming projects and abandoned cart queries.
- Offer tailored product suggestions, trade pricing information, and guidance on using the platform to create a strong customer experience.
- Manage the sales pipeline, nurture prospects, and work steadily toward revenue goals.
- Partner with Marketing and Content teams to strengthen the B2B journey and improve conversion rates.
- Track sales results, customer input, and market movements to uncover new growth opportunities.
- Prepare recurring reports and insights that support informed business decisions.
- Spend one day each week at the South Granville warehouse helping coordinate and send rug and fabric samples to trade clients.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in sales, ideally within interiors, homewares, furniture, or a similar field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in interior design, styling, and creating attractive spaces.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence engaging clients throughout the sales process.
- Strong negotiation ability and comfort influencing outcomes while building lasting partnerships.
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to juggle multiple priorities in a busy environment.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and clearly explain processes to customers.
- Hands-on experience with Google Workspace, Shopify, and Monday.com, or similar CRM/project management tools.
- A customer-first approach with a focus on outstanding service and meeting sales targets.
