Role Overview

The role of Axiomatics Tester involves supporting quality assurance efforts for a policy-driven authorisation platform, specifically focusing on validating policy logic, attribute resolution, and enforcement outcomes for applications and APIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executing and managing test cases related to Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) policies and their decision results.
  • Ensuring accuracy of policy evaluation across various attribute combinations.
  • Testing integrations among Policy Enforcement Points (PEPs), Policy Decision Points (PDPs), and attribute data sources.
  • Assisting with regression tests following policy modifications.
  • Logging defects found, tracking their resolution, and verifying fixes through retesting.
  • Maintaining necessary test documentation and execution records.

Candidate Profile

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in system or integration testing roles.
  • Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM), authorisation frameworks, or API security concepts is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the capacity to interpret policy logic and outcomes effectively.
  • Excellent documentation and communication abilities.

Additional Requirements

  • Possession of a current NV2 Security Clearance.
  • Willingness to work on-site five days a week in Canberra.
