About the Role

Join EY's Audit Strategy & Delivery division located in Jamaica, where you'll support clients in fulfilling their financial reporting obligations through independent and insightful audits. Your contributions will include clear communication with management on accounting matters and offering audit committees a transparent perspective. Primary Responsibilities

• Identify and report potential audit concerns or anomalies in financial statements with clear communication to the team.
• Accurately document audit procedures aligned with engagement goals, client history, and audit plans.
• Evaluate and improve existing audit methodologies and challenge established procedures.
• Exhibit professionalism and competency within client environments.
• Maintain strong client relationships by responding to requests and fostering productive interactions.
• Stay updated on economic and business developments relevant to clients.
• Contribute constructive ideas and engage with team insights during audits.
• Leverage technology to learn continuously, share knowledge, and improve service quality.
• Identify and communicate potential business opportunities to the audit team.
• Develop and present innovative ideas utilizing EY’s knowledge and services.

Qualifications and Attributes

• Commitment to teamwork and leadership excellence.
• High integrity within professional environments.
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting or related business fields, or active enrollment in accounting certifications such as ACCA, CA, or CPA.
• A minimum of 2 to 3 years' auditing experience in a public accounting firm or relevant industry expertise is preferred.
