Role Overview

We seek an Associate Program Manager to join the Engineering Office at Navi. This key, visible role involves managing strategic and operational programs across various departments. Collaborating closely with the Head of Engineering and leadership team, you'll lead projects spanning product delivery, process enhancement, governance, regulatory compliance, and organizational effectiveness. Success requires robust program management, structured problem solving, and effective coordination with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic initiatives under the Engineering Office covering delivery, process improvements, and technology governance.
  • Create and manage program plans, define success criteria, identify dependencies, and ensure on-time completion across teams.
  • Serve as the liaison among Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to facilitate organization-wide program execution.
  • Support leadership reviews by preparing dashboards, summaries, and tracking action items.
  • Oversee Engineering-wide processes including execution and roadmap reviews, sprint reporting, and operational metric monitoring.
  • Monitor compliance with SLAs, manage root cause analyses, tech debt, hiring metrics, and process adherence.
  • Develop high-quality documentation for governance meetings and leadership communications.
  • Coordinate internal and external audit and regulatory assessments ensuring timely collection of evidence, progress updates, and closure of action points.
  • Collaborate with Product, Tech, and Information Security teams to maintain audit-ready technology systems and documentation.
  • Maintain a centralized repository for review and compliance documents.
  • Prepare and manage documentation for governance committees such as ITSC, IT Steering, RMC, TPRMC, and Board presentations.
  • Aggregate and report key performance indicators including outsourcing SLA results and incident analyses across entities.
  • Manage committee meeting schedules, pre-read distributions, and publishing meeting minutes.
  • Ensure follow-up on all action items from governance reviews until resolution.
  • Establish and refine operational frameworks, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and trackers to enhance program governance.
  • Work with teams to standardize reporting and documentation methods.
  • Identify inefficiencies and suggest structural program improvements proactively.

Candidate Profile

  • Between 1 to 3 years’ experience as a Program Manager or Technical Program Manager in Product or Technology environments.
  • Experience in regulated sectors like FinTech, Banking, or BFSI is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, adept at collaborating with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Demonstrated ownership, meticulous attention to detail, and capability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Proactive risk identification and communication to relevant leadership and stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially for executive reporting and documentation.
  • Analytical thinking with structured problem-solving abilities.
