Associate Medical Writer

About the role

Inizio Medical is seeking an enthusiastic Associate Medical Writer to join its Singapore team. The role sits within a global healthcare communications environment and supports projects for pharmaceutical companies, scientific societies, and non-governmental organisations.

You will contribute scientific knowledge to create and deliver medical communication materials that are accurate, engaging, and suited to different audiences. The work is varied and combines scientific rigor with clear, creative communication.

What you will do

• Prepare scientifically accurate and commercially relevant content for a range of medical communications deliverables.
• Write and shape materials such as technical manuscripts, congress abstracts, posters, meeting summaries, and educational or training content.
• Work closely with scientists and physicians on important therapeutic and scientific topics.
• Translate complex scientific information into accessible communications for different target audiences.
• Maintain high quality standards while bringing a creative and thoughtful approach to the writing.

What you need

• A strong academic background in the life sciences, with at least an MSc or PhD.
• Clear understanding of a major disease area, such as oncology or haematology.
• Working knowledge of relevant biology, treatment approaches, and drug products from both medical and commercial viewpoints.
• Ability to write with accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
• Interest in communicating science effectively to varied stakeholders.
