Role Overview
The Assistant Manager IT position is a permanent, onsite role located in Sakhipur Upazila. This role is responsible for the daily management and support of the company’s IT operations. Key duties include monitoring and maintaining hardware, software, managing user accounts and access controls, as well as maintaining network stability and security. The role involves troubleshooting, coordinating system upgrades, implementing new tools to enhance operational efficiency, maintaining thorough documentation, interacting with external suppliers when needed, and contributing to IT policy and best practice development in line with company objectives.
Key Qualifications and Skills
- Proven understanding of IT infrastructure, covering computers, servers, network devices, and operating systems.
- Experience with basic network administration, data backup processes, and info security protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and address technical problems, provide user assistance, and manage IT requests.
- Familiarity with common business productivity applications, plus eagerness to learn organization-specific systems.
- Excellent organizational and documentation capabilities coupled with effective time management to juggle multiple priorities.
- Ability to communicate technical details clearly to non-technical staff.
- Capability to work well within cross-functional teams, supporting both production and office environments.
- Preferred education includes a bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Prior industrial or manufacturing experience is beneficial.
