Islam Garments Ltd. Unit-2 is expanding its presence as a garment manufacturer in Gazipur District, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The factory produces high-quality apparel for both domestic and international clients, emphasizing timely delivery, continuous enhancements, and compliance with industry standards. Job Role Overview
The Assistant Account Manager plays a key role in overseeing buyer accounts by supporting order execution from initial sample development through to final shipment. This position requires coordination with production, merchandising, and quality assurance teams, monitoring order progress, and preparing detailed reports for senior management and customers. Responsibilities also include managing order-related documents such as pricing, schedules, and compliance paperwork while assisting in resolving operational challenges impacting deadlines and product quality. Effective communication and precise recordkeeping are critical to help achieve financial and operational goals. This position is full-time and requires physical presence at the factory in Gazipur District.
Key Qualifications
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to interact effectively with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Proficient in data management and reporting, familiar with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and order tracking tools.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities to efficiently process multiple orders and deadlines within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to identify issues in production or documentation and contribute to timely resolutions.
- Basic knowledge of garment production processes, merchandising workflows, and account management practices within the apparel industry.
- Meticulous attention to detail to handle order specifics, pricing, documentation, and compliance requirements accurately.
- Preferably holds a bachelor's degree in Business, Textile Engineering, Commerce, or related fields.
- Relevant experience in garment manufacturing, merchandising, or account coordination is advantageous; familiarity with export documentation and buyer communications is desirable.
