Architecture Landscape Draftsman

Role Overview

Join UNIMAC as an Architecture Landscape Draftsman based in Qiddiya, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves creating precise architectural and landscape design drawings, construction documents, and technical details utilizing CAD and BIM software tools. You will collaborate closely with architects and landscape architects throughout design and construction stages to produce high-quality documentation that adheres to project specifications, regulatory codes, and company standards. Immediate availability is required.

Key Duties

• Generate architectural and landscape drawings including plans, sections, elevations, and detailed construction blueprints using AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting applications.
• Create detailed drawings for hardscape, softscape, grading, irrigation, planting layouts, and site plans.
• Update and revise drawings accommodating design modifications, comments from consultants, and client inputs.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, MEP, civil, and landscape teams to ensure drawing accuracy and consistency across disciplines.
• Produce presentation materials, layout plans, and technical documents for design submissions.
• Support preparation of necessary permit, tender, and construction documents.
• Maintain drawing registers and follow strict document control protocols.
• Perform quantity take-offs and help devise material schedules when needed.
• Assist site teams by preparing as-built drawings and integrating site changes into project records.
• Systematically manage project files, CAD standards, and drawing templates.

Candidate Profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Drafting Technology, or Landscape Architecture.
• At least 7 years of hands-on drafting experience in architectural and landscape projects.
• Proven familiarity with infrastructure works, road projects, and landscaping.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Working knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, Civil 3D, or other BIM software highly desirable.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Lumion is advantageous.
• Thorough understanding of architectural and landscape construction drawings.
• Knowledgeable in grading, irrigation systems, planting design, and detailing hardscape elements.
• Excellent precision and attention to drafting details.
• Capability to interpret sketches, technical specifications, and design concepts effectively.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with team members.
• Efficient time management with capability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
