Role Summary
The Architectural Inspector will oversee the architectural engineering aspects of projects, ensuring compliance with inspection plans, drawings, codes, and specifications. This role requires close collaboration with senior engineers, project managers, and contractors to maintain quality, safety, and timely execution of all architectural works.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise architectural engineering work aligned with inspection plans, specifications, and relevant codes.
- Coordinate with Senior Architectural Engineers, management, and contractors to provide support and expedite processes.
- Review contractor documents and shop drawings to identify and resolve issues impacting structural or functional stability.
- Ensure contractors adhere to approved Quality Control Plans and safety protocols during installations.
- Maintain comprehensive site records, including daily diaries and monthly photographic progress updates.
- Prepare accurate inspection and progress reports related to architectural components.
- Assist in obtaining necessary approvals and NOCs from authorities and clients to avoid project delays.
- Perform field inspections, material verifications, and tests to confirm quality and compliance with project specifications.
- Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and work with contractors on corrective actions.
- Ensure all architectural tasks conform to design requirements and contractual obligations.
- Document submittals, tests, inspections, and executed work following contract administration procedures.
- Participate in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) training and report on related matters.
