Architect CAD & Construction Documentation

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Architect specializing in CAD and Construction Documentation to join our team on a contract basis. This remote position involves producing detailed architectural and engineering drawings, with a focus on accuracy and adherence to project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed floor plans and elevation drawings tailored to project specifications.
• Create comprehensive CAD documentation for architectural and engineering use.
• Generate precise Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) callouts essential for manufacturing documentation.
• Construct and annotate multi-sheet electrical schematics following industry standards.
• Design and review Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layouts incorporating best practices to ensure manufacturability and operational efficiency.
• Engage in collaborative communication to clarify requirements and resolve technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and deliver thorough documentation packages aligned with project milestones and quality standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least three years of recent professional experience in architectural CAD and construction documentation.
• Proficient with standard industry software tools for 2D and 3D CAD modeling as well as PCB layout design.
• Expertise in preparing and interpreting GD&T callouts and complex schematic representations.
• Demonstrated ability to develop multi-sheet electrical schematics integrated within architectural projects.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational aptitude to manage multiple technical documents effectively.
• Strong English communication skills suitable for remote, cross-functional collaboration.
• Prior experience working on remote teams is considered an advantage.
