Arabic Language Expert - Remote Contract Role

Overview

This contract position calls for an Arabic Language Expert to remotely review AI-generated Arabic and English responses and generate top-tier bilingual training materials. Your work will critically assess the logical reasoning, problem-solving steps, accuracy, and clarity of AI outputs, providing expert analysis and feedback that enhances AI model quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed instructional prompts and responses across multiple topics to support AI learning, leveraging advanced English and Arabic language skills.
• Evaluate and rank AI-generated replies, ensuring superior accuracy, natural language fluency, and contextual relevance.
• Perform thorough testing for model inaccuracies or biases, validating reliability across different scenarios.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a bachelor's degree or higher in Linguistics, Translation, Arabic Language, Communications, Journalism, or related discipline.
• Demonstrate native or near-native proficiency in Arabic, including excellent writing and editing capabilities in Modern Standard Arabic plus at least one major dialect (with a preference for Egyptian Arabic).
• Have advanced English proficiency (minimum C1 level) for bilingual evaluations and instruction compliance.
• Bring over three years of experience in fields such as translation, localization, editorial quality assurance, content quality control, or linguistic review.
• Show meticulous attention to detail and an ability to consistently apply rigorous evaluation rubrics during high-volume, hourly contract work.
• Exhibit strong fact-checking skills and comfort using authoritative sources to verify claims as needed.
• Be adept at detecting reasoning flaws, methodological mistakes, and unclear explanations, even if linguistic fluency is present.
• Work effectively and independently in a remote, asynchronous work environment with dependable availability and communication.
• Preferably have prior exposure to AI training, annotation, or evaluation procedures.
• Have familiarity with Arabic localization standards relevant to the MENA region, including terminology, formatting, and cultural nuances.

Additional Information

This hourly-paid remote contractor role offers flexible hours and opportunities to engage in future projects through an expert network. Currently, no immediate project is available; however, qualified experts will be prioritized for upcoming assignments.
