Role Summary

The position of Arabic Internal Auditor is a full-time, on-site opportunity located in Dubai. The incumbent will be responsible for executing internal audits for both financial and operational areas within Valtrans. This involves planning and carrying out audit assignments, evaluating internal controls, and delivering coherent audit reports detailing observations, risks identified, and suggested improvements. The auditor will conduct regular assessments to ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards while pinpointing opportunities for procedural enhancements and cost efficiencies.

Day-to-day duties consist of analyzing financial data, assisting with financial audit processes, collaborating with multiple departments, and presenting audit findings to management with clarity and professionalism. The auditor also plays a role in fostering best practices and reinforcing governance and risk management frameworks throughout the organisation.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Strong analytical capabilities and a well-grounded knowledge of finance.
• Experience in drafting and evaluating audit reports, and performing financial audits.
• Effective communication skills in both Arabic and English, enabling clear reporting and stakeholder interaction.
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, or ACCA are advantageous.
• Experience in internal auditing, risk management, or compliance, specifically within transportation, hospitality, or service sectors, is preferable.
• High attention to detail, sound ethical judgment, and the capacity for independent and collaborative work on-site in Dubai.
