Role Overview
The Apfo position is a full-time, on-site role located in Bhubaneswar. This role requires supporting the execution of fire safety training programs, assisting in conducting practical drills, and ensuring compliance with fire service procedures and regulations. Responsibilities involve organizing training schedules, upkeep of equipment and instructional resources, diligent record-keeping, and guiding participants during practice exercises. The Apfo will liaise with senior trainers and administrative teams to facilitate efficient operations and maintain adherence to safety standards.
Key Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated organizational and coordination abilities for managing training activities and documentation.
- Basic understanding of fire safety principles, emergency protocols, and firefighting fundamentals, or willingness to undergo related training.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for clear interaction with trainees and staff.
- Willingness to operate in a disciplined, physically demanding setting including participation in drills and field exercises.
- Basic proficiency in computer applications for maintaining records and preparing reports.
- Educational background related to fire engineering, safety management, or similar disciplines is preferred; prior experience in fire services or emergency management is advantageous.
- Strong commitment to public safety, teamwork, and ongoing professional growth.
