Role Overview
We are seeking a Manager-Solution Architect specializing in Anaplan to join our delivery team. This role involves designing customized, high-quality Anaplan models tailored to client needs. The architect will establish the technical direction for internal modeling consultants and clients, creating solutions that integrate data sources and model architecture effectively while offering excellent user interfaces. The position also includes mentoring and training responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the entire design process of Anaplan models as a Solution Architect.
- Manage projects using Agile Implementation Methodology.
- Communicate effectively with client teams across various time zones and in client-facing environments.
- Work within a hybrid work model balancing office and remote work.
- Maintain accountability and display a positive approach.
- Teach clients and internal staff with no prior Anaplan experience on model building.
- Guide customers to improve their processes by leveraging Anaplan expertise and subject matter knowledge.
- Address project scope and timeline concerns constructively to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Lead a team of consultants with strong leadership skills.
- Understand client business planning, performance management processes, and related requirements.
- Develop efficient Proof of Concept (POC) models to support new business opportunities and demonstrate Anaplan capabilities.
- Create detailed blueprints covering enterprise models including modules, lists, line items, and calculations within Anaplan’s multi-dimensional platform.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or any other discipline, with an MBA, postgraduate degree, CA, or CFA in Finance.
- 10 to 13 years of consulting or implementation experience, preferably with on-premise systems such as SAP BPC, IBM Cognos TM1, Oracle Hyperion.
- 6 to 8 years of practical Anaplan modeling experience, including at least 4 complete end-to-end Anaplan implementations concentrating on financial forecasting, supply chain planning, HR, sales, or incentive compensation management use cases.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including developing macros and handling large data sets using advanced functions like Lookups and SumIf.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Mandatory certification as an Anaplan Solution Architect.
- In-depth understanding of multi-dimensional data architecture.
- Experience managing teams effectively.
