Airport Representative

Role Overview

Mandarin Oriental in Singapore seeks a dedicated Airport Representative to join their Rooms team. This position ensures exceptional guest service at Changi Airport, assisting both arriving and departing guests with transportation, luggage, GST refunds, and providing relevant airline and hotel information. The representative serves as an ambassador for the hotel, demonstrating integrity, respect, and a commitment to a growth mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding quality experiences to all hotel guests.
• Support overall room operations by warmly welcoming guests upon arrival and bidding them farewell when departing.
• Examine arrival and departure manifests to meet guests' preferences and requirements.
• Attend scheduled flight landings, assisting guests with baggage clearance and directing them to transportation services.
• Remain stationed at arrival and departure terminals for flights involving hotel guests.
• Build and maintain positive relations with airline staff, immigration, and customs officials under management guidance. For guests without hotel-arranged pickups, direct them to approved taxi or limousine services.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and Changi Airport amenities.
• Coordinate between guests and other hotel departments before arrival and during departure, addressing inquiries promptly.
• Report security incidents and complaints to the Concierge Manager, proactively taking action when appropriate.

• Exhibits a flexible and proactive mindset, adept at quickly handling last-minute requests and changes.
• Communicates warmly and effectively with guests in English.
• Able to work rotational shifts including weekends and public holidays.
