About the Role
Join ICL Education Group, an NZQA Category 1 accredited and rapidly expanding international education provider based in Auckland, as an Agent Relationship Manager. This pivotal position involves managing and nurturing partnerships with education agents to drive ethical student recruitment and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, fostering sustainable enrolment growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough due diligence and reference verifications for prospective education agents.
- Coordinate, prepare, and maintain agent agreements and their periodic renewals.
- Track and evaluate agent performance metrics like enrolment figures, application quality, visa approval rates, student retention, and feedback.
- Review promotional content such as websites, social media, and advertisements to uphold accurate and appropriate representation of ICL.
- Identify and mitigate compliance, reputational, and branding risks linked to agent activities.
- Address and investigate complaints or concerns related to agents, ensuring corrective measures are applied.
- Oversee records and approval of sub-agents actively engaged with ICL.
- Maintain comprehensive, precise, and audit-compatible documentation of all agent details.
- Generate detailed reports on agent performance, recruitment trends, compliance challenges, and risk areas.
- Support compliance audits and internal quality assurance efforts, including those by NZQA and Immigration New Zealand.
- Contribute to refining agent management policies, monitoring systems, and related training programs.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a confident relationship manager capable of building trust while setting clear expectations. Proficiency in handling data and documentation, recognizing risks, and managing sensitive discussions is essential, along with collaborative skills across departments.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in English language.
- A tertiary academic qualification.
- Proven experience in establishing trusted stakeholder relationships.
- Strong computer literacy, notably in Microsoft Office and aptitude to learn internal student management platforms.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
Preferred Experience
- Academic background in Business, Marketing, Education, International Education, or related fields.
- Experience in international student recruitment, education agent oversight, admissions, or compliance within the education sector.
- Familiarity with NZQA standards, Immigration New Zealand regulations, the Education Code of Practice, and international education best practices.
- Strong analytical skills and capacity to handle multiple stakeholders while ensuring meticulous record keeping.
