About the Role
Join Linfox's Intermodal division in Mackay as an Administration & Compliance Coordinator, where you'll manage key administrative, compliance, and financial operations. This role supports the delivery of essential services using advanced technology for major Australian industries, ensuring operational accuracy and adherence to safety and governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage processing of driver run sheets, invoicing, and subcontractor payments efficiently and punctually.
- Carry out weekly payroll reconciliations and prepare profit and loss reports covering contractors, labour hire, and operational expenses.
- Conduct fatigue audits and ensure compliance for driver documentation, run sheets, and safety records.
- Coordinate invoicing activities for Mackay and Bowen locations, and provide backup support for additional sites as needed.
- Maintain comprehensive records including customer dockets, proof of delivery, compliance forms, and operational data.
- Prepare routine reporting such as weekly/monthly operational reports, forecasts, toolbox meeting notes, Work Health and Safety records, and commitment registers.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional comfortable working in a dynamic operations environment able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Essential qualities and experience include:
- Previous administration or compliance experience within the transport or logistics sectors.
- Proficiency with SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Transport Management Software like Blue Yonder.
- Familiarity with payroll reconciliation, invoicing, contractor cost management, and financial record keeping.
- Capability to work independently while prioritizing competing deadlines effectively.
- Demonstrated dedication to safety practices, fatigue management, and compliance protocols.
- High accuracy in reporting and documentation maintenance.
