About the Role
We are searching for a dedicated Administration Assistant to join our Broker Support team based in Melbourne. Reporting directly to the Team Manager, you will be instrumental in delivering administrative assistance to our Underwriting teams, ensuring seamless day-to-day functioning for our brokers in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch renewal invitations and non-express renewals to brokers promptly.
- Process and administer new insurance policies and renewals using the underwriting system, including the preparation and management of Certificates of Currency.
- Track and follow up on pending and upcoming renewals and new business activities.
- Keep broker records up to date and manage their online system logins efficiently.
- Handle inbound calls professionally and take accurate messages.
- Perform general administrative and office support tasks as required.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience in administration and delivering excellent customer service.
- Previous exposure to the insurance industry is highly advantageous.
- Possess a professional and upbeat attitude with a proactive approach to tasks.
- Able to thrive in a busy, high-volume work setting.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong verbal and written customer communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail coupled with solid organizational abilities.
- Proficient in IT, especially Microsoft Office suite.
- Exhibit a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
