Role Overview
DRW seeks an Accounts Payable Administrator to join the London office on a 15-month contract. This position will play a key role within the global accounting function, working collaboratively with trading and operations staff. It is intended as maternity cover, requiring onsite presence in the London office for the duration, with full-time attendance expected during the first two months, and at least three onsite days weekly after that.
Main Responsibilities
- Review and reconcile invoices with purchase orders using eRequester.
- Liaise with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and outstanding queries regarding billing.
- Process invoices not linked to purchase orders through Corcentric.
- Manage travel and expense reports as well as corporate credit card transactions using Concur.
- Coordinate wire transfers for payments to vendors.
- Set up new supplier records in the accounting database.
- Digitally organize and archive financial documents.
- Handle complex allocation tasks and prepare monthly journal entries for accruals, reclassifications, and ad-hoc reporting as needed.
- Provide ongoing support for expense-related inquiries.
- Carry out various additional duties related to accounts payable as assigned.
Requirements
- Possession of a degree or an AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification.
- At least five years' hands-on experience in accounts payable roles.
- Background in financial services or proprietary trading.
- Proficiency managing multiple entities, currencies, jurisdictions, and intricate allocations, including journal entry creation.
- Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail, particularly when under tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Demonstrable initiative, adaptability, and effective teamwork skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Additional Information
- This contract covers maternity leave for 15 months.
- The role is primarily onsite: five days in-office for the initial two months, transitioning to a minimum of three days onsite per week thereafter.
